Kairos Ministries, Inc. is a Christian faith-based, nonprofit organization that offers life-giving programs and
services to nurture redemptive and restorative encounters with
the living God. We are a resource for people who are hungry for
more—to know God in a more personal way … to become more
healthy and whole … to see more clearly who God made them to be
and the meaning and purpose of their lives.
Mission & Purpose
Kairos Ministries brings the transformative power of Jesus
Christ into the lives of individuals and families. Our mission
is to help people become spiritually alive, whole and free,
realize their full potential, and fulfill their God-given
destiny.
In the manner of Luke 4:18-19, we have a passion to open the
eyes of the blind so they can turn from darkness to light …
finding release from guilt and failure, and entering more fully
into their inheritance promised by God.
We
desire to bind up the broken hearted and proclaim liberty to
people in captivity.
We believe God’s Spirit
longs to do a deep inner work, cleansing and transforming us in
the core of our being, at the very foundation of our existence.
Bringing People to Jesus
Jesus Christ said, “You diligently study the Scriptures because
you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the
Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me
to have life” (John 5:39-40). Our purpose is to bring people to
Jesus so that they might receive something from him.
Jesus Christ alone can meet the deepest needs of our lives.
Resolution of our personal conflicts, resulting in inner
freedom, can only be achieved through the completed work of
Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Serving The Spirit
Key to the fulfillment of our mission is the Holy Spirit. We
know it is the Spirit alone that can make people live—not our
cleverness, education, charisma, or personal power that will
make people change. The Holy Spirit does the work. He reveals
Jesus Christ in us and guides us into the truth. We can trust
the Holy Spirit.
Apart from the Spirit of God, we cannot change anyone. However,
we do know the One who has transformed, loved, healed, and freed
us, and brought His power into our lives. It is to this One that
we turn.
Jesus said, “He who believes in Me…’from his innermost being
shall flow rivers of living water.’ But this He spoke of
the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive…”
(John 7:38,39a). To become spiritually-alive people of God, we
need to become aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence within us.
Learning how to use our spiritual senses, we begin to hear God’s
voice, exercise spiritual discernment, and flow with the Holy
Spirit.
Historical Background
Established in 1999, Kairos Ministries, Inc. functions under the
guidance of a board of directors who belong to a variety of
Christian traditions, both Protestant and Catholic. We all share
a basic single event—a vital, life-changing encounter with the
Holy Spirit, an event that crystallized for us the reality of a
living and personal God and thrust us into a spiritual adventure
with the living Lord.
Witnesses to the reality of God’s truth, we have discovered that
God keeps His promises and sustains us under the most adverse
circumstances. Responding to the call of God, we have ministered
both at home and abroad as an expression of our personal faith.
We pray that we will be spiritually sensitive and attuned to the
Holy Spirit, allowing the river of life to flow from our
innermost being to strengthen others. Called by God “to open the
eyes of the blind and heal the broken hearted”, we value our authenticity, transparency,
emotional honesty, and capacity to be life-giving people of God.
We chose the name Kairos Ministries because
transformative experiences that occur through the Holy Spirit
depend upon the right environment, the opportune time. That’s
the sense of the Greek word
Kairos. These experiences
cannot be forced. They occur … “in the fullness of time” … and
they are quite miraculous, spiritual, and divine.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Kairos Ministries, Inc.
has a board of directors that oversees and guides the activities
of the ministry.
