Kairos School of Life

We enjoyed a rewarding School of Life in May, 2011, with attendees from Germany and the USA. It was a life-changing experience for many people, as God wonderfully blessed our six days together. We have scheduled an October reunion retreat for the people who attended the May retreat (see Schedule of Events ).

Perhaps we will conduct another School of Life in 2012, depending on the level of interest shown. If you would like to participate, please let us know.

Kairos Ministries School of Life offers a six-day program called HEALING MY LIFE, to bring healing, wholeness, and restoration to the whole person—spirit, soul, and body. Consisting of 40 intensive hours of in-depth teaching, experiential learning, and personal ministry, this course will be held in a Catholic guesthouse, near Boston, Massachusetts.  

God has provided us with everything we need for healing and wholeness. However, because of ignorance of God’s truths and ways, many people experience much personal loss and destruction. In this healing course, you will learn proven, divine principles and practices that can bring increasing wholeness into your life. You can expect to encounter transformative experiences through the leading of the Holy Spirit.  

We are convinced from the Scriptures and our own experiences that God desires to heal and restore us at the deepest level of our being. The work of Jesus Christ on the cross and the presence of the Holy Spirit make it possible for us to be transformed in every part of our being—emotions, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors, and relationships.

We desire that those who participate in HEALING MY LIFE will experience redemptive and restorative moments through the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. As shepherds in the body of Christ, we work to help you see things hidden in the shadows and to bring to the light those things within your own soul and your life that have bound you with chains. We offer a loving atmosphere in which you can safely explore your life, expose hidden ungodly beliefs, and discover the spiritual roots of problems. Here you can resolve some of your deep inner conflicts and receive healing grace from our Lord.

HEALING MY LIFE is an opportunity for godly instruction, prayer and personal ministry through the Holy Spirit—not psychotherapy! Our out-of-country guests must be able to understand and adequately express themselves in English, because we will not provide a translator.

“I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding” (Jeremiah 3:15).

To be a whole person, the hidden, unseen part of us—the soul, deep heart, innermost being, subconscious part—must be healed and restored. The Bible has much to say about the wounded condition of our spirit, soul, and heart, and about God’s desire to make us whole. Although we cannot heal ourselves, we can trust the power of the Holy Spirit in our search for transformative healing experiences.  

HEALING MY LIFE emphasizes:

You must commit to:  

·         Praying preparation prayers  

·         Completing a background information questionnaire

·         Participating in meal set up and clean up

·         Doing follow up homework

·         Giving a follow up report: two and four weeks after program  

Waiver of liability

During your application process, you will be asked to acknowledge that HEALING MY LIFE is ministry through the Holy Spirit, not psychotherapy. Gerald and Judith Doctor will teach and minister out of the gifts, calling, and understanding the Lord has given them. Because this ministry is under the control of the Holy Spirit, no guarantees can be made about whether you will receive any particular healing.

HEALING MY LIFE will be conducted in the McMahon Guesthouse, operated by the Cistercian Nuns of Mt. St. Mary’s Abbey. Our guests will stay in the McMahon House or nearby Abbey. We offer 8 single rooms & 4 twin-bed rooms—all rooms with shared baths.  You are welcome to attend services in the nearby Monastic Chapel. 

About Gerald & Judith Doctor

Many hurting people need a wise helper, someone who understands the hidden depths of the soul, can guide their thinking, and ultimately bring them to Jesus Christ, the Healer of our souls. Gerald, MSEE, and Judith, MSW, RN, have confidence that the Lord has called them to share with others God’s love and truths that they have experienced themselves. Judith has brought hope and restoration to many people during more than 25 years of ministry in the USA and Europe. They work together as spiritual parents in the body of Christ to help people find restoration, wholeness, and transformation in their lives.

Gerald and Judith offer hearts of faith, love and hope that flow out of their wealth of experiences with the Living Lord.  Married over fifty years, they teach and minister out of their spiritual gifts, calling, and understanding the Lord has given them. You may know them from their retreats, workshops, or Judith’s monthly program on Radio Horeb.

How to Register for HEALING MY LIFE

1. To begin the application process, complete the HEALING MY LIFE Application Form.

2. Within 2 weeks after we receive your completed Application Form, you will receive a follow-up email or telephone call to confirm details of your application and your acceptance into HEALING MY LIFE.

3. Once accepted, you must complete the HEALING MY LIFE Registration Form and electronically submit the form.

4. Finally you will be asked to use PayPal to send a deposit of $250 in order for us to reserve a space for you. Your reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit is received and you receive back a Confirmation Notice. Your registration will be canceled if deposit is not received within 14 days of acceptance into the program.
