What We Do: Overview
Kairos Ministries organizes and
conducts a variety of programs for spiritual growth, healing,
and wholeness in the United States and Europe. These programs
include
retreats;
workshops,
seminars, small groups;
European ministry;
radio ministry.
We also provide speakers and
workshop leaders for churches and other ministries, professional
associations, clubs, senior centers, women’s or men’s groups,
radio, hospitals, and other organizations. To schedule a speaker

Under the name of Kairos Christian Counseling Services, Kairos Ministries, Inc. also offers
Christian Counseling in Massachusetts for individuals,
families, and groups.
Multi-Dimensional Approach
With a deep Biblical foundation and reliance upon the Holy
Spirit, we use a multi-dimensional approach to teach God’s
principles, facilitate holistic growth and healing experiences,
and train God’s people in helping others. This approach enables
us to integrate the three major ways in which people
learn—didactic information, role modeling, and making
experiences. To provide each person with an optimum opportunity
to learn, we employ the following elements:

Instruction, teaching, depositing of truth

Voices of personal experience, interactive
dialogue, testimony, feedback, peer support
·
Creative exercises, drawing, journaling,
attitude work, emotional release work, dream processing, meditation, affirmations, reflection, spiritual
practices, etc.
Creating A Healing Atmosphere
Recognizing that the kindness of
God leads to change (repentance), Kairos Ministries creates
a safe, healing environment that helps people get beyond
defense mechanisms, deeply ingrained habits, and resistance to
the Holy Spirit. When fortresses and strongholds are broken, the
ego is dethroned, the kingdom of self recedes, and people can become
open to see what God will do. Once people take off their masks
and open their hearts, they become ready to receive something
from God.
A safe, loving atmosphere gives
people permission to open their hearts at a deeper level.
In
our programs, people feel safe to fully experience their
emotions. Honest expression of painful feelings in the presence
of the Lord allows them to receive His healing touch.
With empathetic understanding, we create
a safe, loving, nurturing environment where God can make changes
in people’s lives.
Healing The Father Wound
Often people cannot come close to
God because of wounds caused by their earthly fathers, who were
unable to affirm, love, protect, and encourage them. Their
childhood experiences gave them distorted images of God.
Awareness of the father wound permeates all our programs. We
long to help people develop a healthier image of God and
experience the love of our Heavenly Father in their lives.
Valuing Dreams and Visions
From early biblical times and throughout the ages, God has used
dreams and visions to speak to his people, giving them guidance,
wisdom, insight and correction. The Scriptures say that in the
last days God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and they
will have dreams, visions and prophecies. Although the Church
has given some attention to prophetic words and visions, it
essentially ignores the dream. No longer can God’s people afford
to neglect this source of divine help.
In response to this need, Kairos Ministries offers workshops,
seminars, and dream sharing groups, teaching God’s people how to
understand the dream and its symbolic language. We are committed
to helping God’s people benefit from their nighttime visions.
Nurturing The Kairos Moment
Key to our successful programs is the wide variety of Christian
healing modalities interwoven together in a life-giving manner
that helps people make experiences with God. These include
worship, confession, forgiveness of sins, repentance, sharing
Scriptures, words from God, body ministry, anointing with oil,
laying on of hands, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, ministering
freedom, praying for the sick, love, and affirmation.
It is the synergy of teaching, interactive engagement, and the
Christian healing modalities that leads to restorative and
redemptive experiences. This approach creates numerous
opportunities for God’s Spirit to bring revelation and
understanding—the “Kairos moment” (see
What Kairos Means).
