Workshops, Seminars, Small Groups
Following an approach similar to
our work with
retreats, Kairos Ministries, Inc. offers workshops,
seminars, and small groups aimed at facilitating holistic growth
and healing experiences.
Some groups consist of short workshops or seminars—an evening or
a day. Other groups may last for several weeks, allowing for
extended learning on a topic or theme.
We teach God’s life-giving principles
and help increase people’s understanding of our spiritual
journey and what God has in mind for us. In a small group
environment, people discover many opportunities for direct,
meaningful experiences with God.
Restorative And Redemptive Experiences
A multi-dimensional approach
integrates the three ways people learn—didactic information,
role modeling, and making experiences—along with a wide variety
of Christian healing modalities. This interactive learning
environment creates numerous opportunities for the Holy Spirit
to bring revelation and understanding. Restorative and
redemptive experiences initiated by the Holy Spirit are vital if
we are to develop into mature, spiritual people of God.
Small Groups
The small group format is often utilized because the ability to
relate is at the core of Christianity, enabling people to make
new experiences with themselves, with others and with God. Small
group dynamics provide people with mutual support, affirmation,
validation, open and honest communication, feedback, sense of
belonging and community.
Small groups offer people a safe place to talk, get real,
confess their failures, share their burdens, receive love, share
resources, and witness each other’s stories. In this way, people
learn that they are not alone and find strength for their
journey. The presence of God dwells in their midst. Faith is
strengthened and the human spirit made strong.
Dream Workshops/Seminars
Believing that dreams and visions offer a valuable resource for
our spiritual journey, Kairos Ministries offers workshops and
seminars focusing on understanding and appreciating our dreams.
Our interactive workshops/seminars provide an understanding of
dreams and their symbolic language, opening up another dimension
in our spiritual lives. A key goal is to help God’s people to
wake up to this neglected, but important, aspect of their
Christian and biblical heritage.
In our workshops, we start by showing that dreams are rooted in
Scripture and early Church history. We explain how dreams can be
a tool for inner healing and spiritual growth. By realizing the
significance and value of dreams in our Christian walk, we see
more clearly where God is at work, and what changes we need to
make in our lives.
Kairos Ministries’ dream workshops offer practical experience in
working with dreams and discovering how to make sense of our
dreams. By understanding the meaning of objects and activities
in our dreams, we appreciate how our dreams relate to our
present day situation. Dreams help point us in the direction of
God’s purpose for our lives and offer guideposts along our
spiritual journey.
