Many of God’s people do not know God’s truth through the eyes of the heart. They practice a sterile religion, feeling hollow and empty inside. With no inner reality, they are not in touch with the living Christ and the Kingdom of God within them.

We can be aware of what God is saying to us and understand His purpose for our lives. Becoming spiritually alive, we find growing wholeness, freedom, and fulfillment … and discover our identity and destiny in God.

Spiritual growth comes by seeing, not by trying harder. It means transformation, not mere conformity to a set of rules for living. Like St. Paul, we need to pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, asking that the eyes of our heart be opened (Ephesians 1:17-18).

True Christianity offers a vital, life-giving spiritual relationship with God—not a set of rules and laws. We come to know the love of our Heavenly Father, find the living Christ within us, and discover who God has made us to be. A deep confidence develops within us that our lives have meaning.
